About Kurt Linzy Kemnitzer
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest enveloped by natural beauty. Most of my days were spent outside, interacting with or exploring my surrounding environment which fueled my inspirations later in life.
My love of photography developed as an adult as a result of traveling abroad. I discovered that along with enjoying taking pictures of my family, I also began to develop an artistic eye for image composition while photographing architecture, wildlife, and other significant natural things. This began an intense interest in learning the technicalities of camera equipment and settings that could produce my desired pictures.
As with other passions in life, I continually strive to grow and improve my photography skill until I feel that I have mastered them (This may never be accomplished but I enjoy the journey). I love learning and challenging my technical abilities while also developing my artistic expression and teaching what I have learned to others. Some of my favorite subjects to photograph, as you will see from my images, are Owls and other Birds of Prey, large wildlife, and natural landscapes from around the West.
